Students had so much fun learning from three modules with our teachers. Ms. Bryn taught students about composer John Williams with a drawing project with classic light motifs. Mr. Gabriel ran a fun Star Wars Trivia Game and Ms. Hila taught about Mandalorian TV show composer Ludwig Gorrason.

We loved having baby Yoda make an appearance (our student Divya) and all the fun projects and learning we did together on Zoom!

Summer Music Showcase Competition – July 2021

This was Atlanta Music Education’s first ever competition in the summer for music performances. Students were encouraged to send in a video performing one of their summer lesson songs to win awards in categories of beginner or intermediate in each instrument.

At our Summer Open Mic, some of the attendees were winners in their categories and we held an award ceremony before the show. Congrats to all the winners!

Summer Kids Open Mic – Luau themed – July 2021

We had a blast at our first in person event since March 2020. We teared up getting to see our students again in person and perform with them. Two showtimes with small groups of families spaced out in the backyard was a perfect afternoon.

Students wore their best summer gear and luau outfits for our beach photo booth area, enjoyed popsicles we provided during each intermission plus got to see some surprise teacher performances. Find videos of the student’s performances on our Facebook or Instagram @atlantamusiceducation
