Faber Edition Level 3A are the books we recommend for our intermediate piano students, who’ve taken lessons previously or are familiar with 3/8 and 6/8 time signatures and the triplet. Students learn the chromatic scale as well. These books are low cost and easy to order.
We require students to have a theory book so they can learn songs, but also have worksheets, composing projects, rhythm, and listening modules to improve their classical music theory skills.
