Faber Edition Level 3B are the books we recommend for our intermediate-advanced piano students, who’ve taken lessons previously or are familiar with the one-octave minor scale, motive and sequence, all 12 major and minor triads, triad inversions, syncopation, and an introduction to sixteenth notes. These books are low cost and easy to order.
We require students to have a theory book so they can learn songs, but also have worksheets, composing projects, rhythm, and listening modules to improve their classical music theory skills.
